Mathematics Teacher

We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher for an international school in Chengdu. This position is available from July 2027 for the 2027–28 academic year

Job Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to high school students using the AP curriculum, developing mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills
• Prepare lessons, learning materials and assessments, provide tutoring and write student reports
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the curriculum
• Monitor progress and set targets that help students improve
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related subject
• At least two years of experience as a lead classroom teacher
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred
