Maximo Developer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience working with Maximo, ideally in an in-house specialist or developer role
• Strong scripting and development skills in Java, Python, and Jython
• Experience with requirements definition and designing Maximo configuration, customisations, and integrations
• Experience with Maximo configuration such as Start Centres, Queries, KPIs, Application Designer, and Conditional Expressions
• Experience with SQL and data analysis
• Experience with BIRT Reporting
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams
• Ability to work independently using own initiative and as part of a team
• Understanding of the development life cycle
• Experience with various project methodologies
• Ability to support colleagues in developing their skills

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the business to understand processes and requirements for the Maximo system
• Design and build new applications, interfaces, and extensions using Java, JavaScript, and external APIs
• Work with architecture and development teams to shape and design fit-for-purpose solutions
• Develop and implement minor configuration changes to the Maximo system, including Start Centres, BIRT Reporting, application changes, and data updates
• Identify opportunities to improve the existing system and user experience
• Maintain product functional expertise in Maximo
• Support the Maximo Support team in investigating and resolving recurring or challenging support issues
• Define requirements, analyse needs, and design Maximo enhancements, automation scripts, and integrations
