Mill Shop Technician at a boat manufacturing facility responsible for prepping materials (drilling, sanding, buffing, polishing) for glass table cutting and installation, ensuring timely delivery of glass kits while following safety protocols and maintaining clean work areas.
Position Summary:
The Mill Shop Technician is responsible for prepping materials to be cut on the glass table and/or installed.
Responsibilities:
- Prep materials for installation by drilling, sanding, buffing and polishing.
- Ensure all glass kits are complete and delivered timely.
- Must be able to follow all safety rules and hazardous material guidelines.
- Able to follow directions and have attention to detail.
- Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment while wearing all required PPE and following safety policy.
- Must practice good housekeeping by keeping work areas clean at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
