Your Job
As an MDM Pricing Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring pricing data accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization. You will support pricing operations by reviewing and validating pricing requests, maintaining pricing master data within ERP systems, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of pricing updates. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
Our Team
You will be part of the Finance & Procurement team based at KCC Bangalore, supporting regional hubs and business partners across the organization. The team focuses on maintaining high-quality master data, enabling smooth pricing operations, and ensuring compliance with business controls and governance standards. Collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence are central to how the team creates value.
What You Will Do
- Review and validate pricing update requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with approval requirements
- Maintain and update pricing condition records within SAP or other ERP systems based on approved requests
- Perform quality checks to ensure pricing data aligns with approved terms, conditions, and effective dates
- Partner with Pricing, Buyers, and cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve data accuracy
- Support compliance by maintaining proper documentation, audit trails, and adherence to pricing governance standards
- Monitor and manage pricing requests within defined turnaround timelines while maintaining high service quality
- Investigate master data issues, identify root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, reporting activities, and process optimization efforts within pricing operations
- Handle sensitive commercial information with confidentiality and professionalism
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related discipline
- 2–3 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining data accuracy and compliance standards
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
What Will Put You Ahead
- Master’s degree in Commerce or related field
- Experience working in a global or multinational organization
- Exposure to pricing operations and pricing master data maintenance
- Knowledge of SAP pricing modules and related processes
- Experience supporting process improvement or operational excellence initiatives
