MDM Systems Analyst
Summary
Designs and maintains master data management systems to ensure data quality and consistency, working with stakeholders and vendors to implement MDM processes and workflows.
Overview
The systems analyst for master data management is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the master data management (MDM) solutions that ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of the organization's data assets. The systems analyst (master data management) works closely with the business stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, and IT teams to understand the data requirements, comply with the data governance policies and rules, and implement the MDM processes and workflows. The systems analyst (master data management) also provides technical support, troubleshooting, and training for the MDM users and systems and works closely with vendors for implementation work.
Job Responsibilities
- BUILD: Create detailed design for modules that need to be developed and align with the requirements and architecture
- BUILD: Conducts SIT for new software or applications
- BUILD: Creates system and operational documentation and user guides
- BUILD: Reports progress and issues in a timely manner to the delivery manager
- BUILD: Design and develop application code according to the agreed functional and technical design, methodologies and standards
- BUILD: Design and develop configuration/scripts according to the agreed functional and technical design, methodologies and standards for package deployment
- BUILD: Prepare package, configuration files, deployment scripts and installation guide for all environments
- OPERATIONS SUPPORT: Monitor and measure the performance, accuracy, and completeness of the MDM solutions, and identify and resolve any data quality issues or gaps
- OPERATIONS SUPPORT: Provide technical support (L3/L4), troubleshooting, and training for the MDM users and systems, and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations
- OTHERS: Analyze the business needs and data sources to design and develop the MDM architecture, data models, data integration, data quality, and data security solutions with the solution/platform architect
- OTHERS: Develop and execute the data migration, data cleansing, data matching, data enrichment, and data synchronization processes for the master data domains
- OTHERS: Manage delivery of System Integrator Vendors on MDM implementation work as necessary with the Delivery Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or any related field
- Must have at least 10 years of extensive experience in IT development
- Proficient in MDM with relevant experience for 6+ years
- Hands-on experience with enterprise ETL, Data Quality and Master Data Management tools, preferably Informatica; has worked with Customer 360, Provisioning tool and MDM APIs
- Conversant with programming/development tools like development platforms/IDEs, configuration management, code review, etc.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods
- Able to work day shifts
- Must be amenable to work in the office daily - Full RTO. Office location: Makati City
