Job Summary:
MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated Sr. Mechanical Engineer with good knowledge in the area of mechanical design of air/liquid cooling module. This person will develop liquid cooling module system, simulation.

Essential Functions:

• Design thermal module parts, assemblies, and installations for the high-voltage products.
• Produce engineering drawings, reports, material lists and work instructions.
• Experience correlating thermal simulation and experimental.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation of mechanical parts for thermal cooling products.
• Provide statements of work, cost estimates, completion schedules and other project administrative inputs.
• Collaborating with multi-region peers including mechanical, application, and product engineering teams for coordination of design specification and issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• M.S. or PH.D in mechanical engineering.
• 6 years overall work experience in the roles of thermal mechanical engineer.
• Knowledge of application systems, such as server, datacenter, testing equipment, and automobile. Experience with thermal mechanical design in products applied into the above application systems.
• Project management experience with cross-function team cooperation.
• Knowledge and experience with air/liquid manufacturing, such as product assembly, QA procedures, ISO regulations, safety certifications.
• Strong analysis skills and demonstrate proficiency with 2D/3D CAD systems and simulation software.
• Proficiency with cold plate, heatsink design for power electronics devices.
• Familiar with SolidWorks, FloEFD and Marcoflow.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/thermal design processes, materials, and fabrication methods.
• Fluent in English language (verbal and written)
