Job Summary
- Seeking a Data Scientist to design scalable data pipelines, automate reporting processes, and develop reusable Python-based data solutions
- The successful candidate will support incremental and batch data ingestion, data transformation, validation, modeling, and dashboard automation
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows
- Develop incremental and batch data-ingestion processes
- Implement robust data validation and quality-control procedures
- Perform data transformation and modeling using SQL and Python
- Preprocess, minimize, filter, normalize, aggregate, and reshape datasets for reporting
- Develop automated reporting workflows and dashboards
- Build and maintain reusable Python automation packages for agency personnel
- Document data pipelines, automation processes, and technical procedures
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
- Strong Python experience
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience designing and implementing ETL workflows
- Experience with data transformation, validation, and modeling
- Experience preprocessing and preparing datasets for reporting
- Experience developing reusable automation solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Pandas, PySpark, or Polars
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboard platforms
- Experience supporting large-scale data environments
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
