Job Title: MEAN Stack Developer

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 6 months plus, could go to hire

MUST BE LOCAL FACE TO FACE REQUIRED

Top Skills: MySQL, Express.JS, Angular.JS, Node.JS, automated application deployment, communication, has a personality

Citizenship: US Cit, GC, TN Visa Preferred; will accept a stellar H1 contractor for long term if available but are preferable to individuals without sponsorship as they may want to convert in the next year.

Questions used to screen for the JavaScript test driven development: (don’t help the candidate figure it out)

1) What are techniques for dealing with asynchronous nature of JavaScript? (async lib, callbacks or promises) 2) What are methods for avoiding callback nesting? (this leads to promises or async lib usually)"

What is it CTH ? it’s an internal product that they use to keep track of their customers, it’s written on node.js very similar to their current stack.

Contract to hire: why?

Citizenship requirements: Green Card, US citizen preferred would still take H1's though if they are very strong

Interview process: phone with the director of engineering interview then in person
