Key Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat products for retail sale.
- Operate meat saws, grinders, slicers, and other processing equipment safely.
- Package, label, and price meat products accurately.
- Maintain fresh and appealing meat displays while rotating stock.
- Assist customers with product selection, special cuts, and cooking recommendations.
- Monitor inventory levels and help with ordering and receiving shipments.
- Follow USDA, HACCP, and company food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment regularly.
- Inspect products for quality, freshness, and proper storage temperatures.
- Reduce waste through proper handling and portion control.
