At Bud’s Towing, we pride ourselves on being the go-to experts for Heavy Hauling, Towing & Recovery, and Fleet Repairs. We’re a team of dedicated professionals committed to keeping our community moving, and we’re looking for a hardworking Mechanic/Laborer to join our crew immediately.
The Role
We are looking for a versatile individual who is ready to jump into a fast-paced environment. This role is a mix of shop labor and mechanical work. You’ll be responsible for assisting with fleet repairs and maintenance, ensuring our equipment is top-notch, and helping with general shop operations.
Want to make extra cash? We also offer a commission-based opportunity for on-call towing during nights and weekends. Don’t worry if you haven't towed before—we provide full in-house training!
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous mechanical or shop experience is preferred.
- Certifications: A State Inspection License is a huge plus, but not required.
- Availability: Standard hours are 9–5, Monday–Friday, but you must be available for occasional required nights and weekends.
- Compliance: Due to our agency contracts, all hires must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings, as well as background and driving record checks.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $20–$28 per hour (depending on your experience level).
- Insurance: Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance. Bud’s covers 50% for both the employee and one dependent.
- Future Planning: 401k plan and Paid Time Off (PTO).
- Extra Earnings: Commission-based pay for on-call towing.
