Responsibilities
- Perform daily repair and maintenance of construction machinery and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing and maintenance work completed at the site or yard.
- Identify and report faults and requirements for machinery or equipment repair and replacement.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical malfunctions and equipment issues.
- Assemble, set up and commission construction equipment used in operations.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Perform required repairs and follow up on outstanding maintenance work.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of machinery, equipment and work areas.
- Support equipment maintenance activities at both the yard and construction sites.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITE/NITEC certification in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Approximately 2 to 4 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery or construction equipment.
- Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Willing to work at construction sites and in outdoor environments under different weather conditions.
- Able to work a 6-day work week.
- Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
