Position Summary
This position is responsible for the repair of all mechanical and computer issues with commercial motor vehicles and construction equipment. Additionally, this position will make road calls for trucks that have broken down and/or have mechanical issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Diagnose all mechanical and computer issues relating to company vehicles
- Repair engines and make body repairs for company vehicles (replacement or rebuild)
- Welding aluminum and steel
- Make service calls for trucks broken down on the highway
- Repair all types of commercial motor vehicles and construction equipment
- Collaborate with Woodstock Manager to order/source parts. Start and complete all work orders for the maintenance shop. Maintain organized/clean parts room. Services/repairs must be completed in a timely manner.
- Address all safety issues with shop to ensure compliance

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)- 1-3 years of mechanic/service technician experience
- Excellent trouble shooting skills and eye for detail.
- Working mechanical knowledge of commercial motor vehicles, gas engines and construction equipment
- Knowledge of software updates and reprogramming of commercial motor vehicles is a plus
- Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations
- Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the yard
- High School diploma or GED is preferred
- DOT brake inspector certification
- Forklift license
- Driver’s license with a clean MVR
