Mechanic

At Sun Shuttle & Transit, we keep our community moving with dependable shuttle service.

We're seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team and help maintain the fleet that our riders count on every day.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the above-listed duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/ or responsibilities required.

ASE certifications preferred but will consider experience in lieu of certifications. Upon hiring, individual will be required to acquire ASE certifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum 3 years documented experience repairing and servicing buses or medium duty trucks.

2. Demonstrated success in performing a wide variety of tasks requiring a proficient understanding of bus repair.

3. Ability to overhaul gasoline engines.

4. Knowledge of Registry of Motor Vehicles bus safety inspection procedures.

5. A valid unrestricted Driver License.
