Mechanical Assembler

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly of products using hand tool (drills, saws, punches, and pneumatic hand tools) as needed.
• Ensure products being built are to the highest quality standards.
• Training of new personnel as needed.
• Others as assigned.

Skills

• 1-3 yrs. experience in a manufacturing environment working with manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Analytical problem solver
• Must be capable of reading a tape measure.
• General math skills
• Must be capable of lifting 50lbs.
• Must be able to use hand tools.
• Must be able to work in a safe manner.
• Quick learner, able to flex in and out of different jobs on a weekly or sometimes daily basis.

Essential Physical Functions:

• Be able to safely lift or move at least 50 lbs.
• Be able to safely climb stairs or ladder.
• Be able to work in cold or hot working conditions
• Must be able to Bend, Stoop, Squat, Kneel

Equipment Used:

The candidate may be required to use a variety of hand tools such as saws, drills, impact drivers, saws, pneumatic air guns, and tape measures.
