Mechanical Design Engineer

You will take ownership of mechanical solutions for electronic units, from design and integration to verification and change handling. In this role, you work in a product development environment where mechanics, electronics, sourcing, and quality need to come together in reliable, high-quality solutions that meet both performance and lifecycle requirements.

You will act as the technical owner within your area and collaborate closely with both internal teams and external partners. The work combines hands-on mechanical design with system understanding, which makes the role especially interesting if you enjoy solving practical engineering challenges while influencing the full lifecycle of a product.

• You design mechanical parts for electronic units, including housings, mounting solutions, cabling, and thermal solutions.
• You integrate PCBA and electronic systems into mechanical designs with focus on function, quality, and manufacturability.
• You define and work with requirements, verification, and validation to ensure the solution meets expectations.
• You create and maintain technical documentation and manage engineering changes in CATIA and PLM tools.
• You collaborate across R&D, sourcing, and quality to move the design forward and resolve technical questions.
• You contribute with technical ownership in your area and support alignment with external partners when needed.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in the mechanical engineering field.
• Experience with CATIA and PLM tools.
• Swedish and English, spoken and written.

• Experience with Teamcenter.
