Alstom is seeking a Mechanical Integration Mechanical Design Engineer (MIT MDE) to manage CAD activities and maintain SAM for space allocation within railway systems. The role includes 3D detailed design of home-made parts, 2D drawings, and close collaboration with suppliers.

This position follows a hybrid working model, combining remote work and on-site presence, and reports to the MIT Domain Leader. A Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and railway design experience are required.

Managing CAD activities and SAM in line with maturity rules. Performing 3D detailed design of home made parts and 2D drawings Creating annotated SAM for exchanges with suppliers and BOM for industrialization. Checking supplier feedback for compliance with SAM rules Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. 1–2 years of mechanical engineering experience in railway products is preferred. 3D modelling and drawing creation experience. Strong English reading/writing and fluent speaking in technical meetings.
