At Mainder, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team at FIASA (Fundiciones Inyectadas Alavesas), an industrial sector company located in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
We are looking for a technical profile with experience in the design and development of components, assemblies, and mechanical solutions, who enjoys converting technical needs into functional, efficient, and manufacturable solutions.
You will join a technical and industrial environment where you will collaborate closely with the engineering, production, and other company areas, participating both in the development of new designs and in the improvement and optimization of existing solutions.
What you'll do
Your main responsibility will be to participate in the design, development, and improvement of products and mechanical solutions, ensuring that each design meets the requirements of functionality, quality, and technical feasibility.
Design and develop components, parts, and mechanical assemblies using 3D CAD tools.
Create, modify, and update three-dimensional models and technical manufacturing drawings.
Perform assemblies, part breakdowns, and prepare the technical documentation associated with each design.
Participate in the definition and optimization of mechanical solutions, taking into account the technical and functional requirements of each project.
Analyze the technical feasibility of designs and propose improvements aimed at optimizing their functionality, quality, and efficiency.
Work in a coordinated manner with the engineering, production, and other areas involved in project development.
Manage design modifications and ensure that all technical documentation is kept correctly updated.
What we're looking for
If you have experience working with 3D CAD tools, especially Siemens NX or CATIA, and you are motivated to participate actively in engineering projects and product development, we want to meet you!
We would like to bring on a person with a good technical base, attention to detail, and the ability to provide practical solutions to mechanical design challenges.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
Previous experience in positions related to mechanical design, product engineering, or industrial component development.
Knowledge of Siemens NX or CATIA. It is not necessary to master both tools; having experience in one of them will be sufficient.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
Knowledge of the design of parts, components, and mechanical assemblies.
Experience working with 3D models and technical documentation associated with design.

How you'll work
Flexible hours: organization of the working day with different entry slots and an intensive schedule on Fridays and during July and August.
At FIASA, you will have a schedule organization that allows for certain flexibility in the working day.
Flexible entry between 7:30 h and 8:30 h.
45-minute lunch break, between 12:30 h and 14:30 h.
Departure from 16:30 h, depending on the entry time and fulfillment of the working day.
Flexible entry between 7:15 h and 8:00 h.
Departure at 15:00 h.
Entry between 7:00 h and 8:00 h.
Departure between 15:00 h and 16:00 h.
