Mechanical Design Engineer/Sr Engineer

Location: West, Singapore
Responsibilities:

• Translate product specifications into practical design concepts and detailed 3D models.
• Provide mechanical engineering direction for product development, process improvements and technical problem-solving.
• Validate proposed solutions through proof-of-concept development and functional testing.
• Refine component designs to simplify assembly.
• Produce detailed technical drawings with geometric tolerances and dimensional stack-up calculations.
• Review existing patents to flag potential conflicts with proposed designs.
• Coordinate development activities and milestones to deliver projects within demanding deadlines.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA or Inventor.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis and drawing standards.
• Experience in rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing and plastic injection moulding design.
