RENEX is a Polish company with many years of experience and a strong presence in the European market. The company continues to grow and operates through an international network, including offices and departments in Zagreb, Pančevo, Skopje, Timișoara, Bucharest, and Sofia.
As our international team continues to expand, we are looking for a Mechanical Designer / Design Engineer from Bosnia and Herzegovina to join our international team and collaborate with colleagues from different countries.
We are looking for a professional with a strong practical knowledge of SolidWorks, experience in designing sheet metal and metal components, and a good understanding of how to adapt designs to real-world manufacturing requirements.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating 3D models of parts and assemblies in SolidWorks, with a particular focus on sheet metal and metal components.
- Creating 2D technical, manufacturing, and assembly documentation.
- Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Developing existing products and creating new design solutions.
- Selecting materials, components, and appropriate manufacturing technologies.
- Collaborating with the production team during prototyping, assembly, and the introduction of new products into production.
- Reviewing designs in terms of functionality, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of assembly.
- Solving design and technical issues that arise during production.
- Optimizing existing designs to simplify manufacturing and reduce costs.
YOUR PROFILE
- Strong practical knowledge of SolidWorks, including part modeling, assembly design, and the creation of 2D technical documentation.
- Good command of English for everyday communication and collaboration with colleagues in Poland.
- Experience in designing products intended for manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of technical drawing and tolerance selection principles.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and responsibly.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A practical approach to solving technical and manufacturing problems.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience in product development from concept and prototyping through to production implementation.
- Experience in simplifying designs and reducing manufacturing costs.
- Experience in designing sheet metal and metal structures.
- Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- COOPERATION MODEL
- Working remotely from your place of residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Cooperation through your own registered business, company, or another appropriate form of business arrangement.
- Access to RENEX servers, software, and the necessary work tools.
- Detailed terms and conditions of cooperation will be agreed upon with the selected candidate.
