About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join the Design Department in Barcelona. The successful candidate will design components and assemblies for rotary printing machinery and prepare the related manufacturing documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Design mechanical components and assemblies for rotary printing machines
Prepare and manage manufacturing orders
Create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings
Apply GD&T principles to serial-manufacturing designs
Structure Bills of Materials (BOMs) using PDM/PLM systems
Collaborate with sales, purchasing and manufacturing teams
Prepare operation and spare-parts manuals
Requirements
3–5 years of mechanical machinery-design experience
Experience designing assemblies involving machined and sheet-metal parts
Expert knowledge of Solid Edge or SolidWorks
Experience with 2D/3D design, GD&T, BOM structuring and PDM/PLM systems
Teamcenter experience is highly desirable
AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
Qualification in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Spanish or Catalan, with English at B2 level
Experience in industrial equipment, printing or packaging is preferred
Proactive, curious and collaborative working style
Available to work on-site in Barcelona
