Mechanical Draftsman
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Draftsman with strong expertise in Revit to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing detailed mechanical drawings and models, with a solid understanding of MEP systems and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and shop drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Develop 3D models and BIM coordination drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure accuracy and coordination
- Review and update drawings based on project requirements and site conditions
- Ensure all drawings comply with local authority regulations and company standards
- Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in the UAE (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Experience in MEP drafting and BIM coordination
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
- Knowledge of Dubai authority regulations (DEWA, DM, etc.) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
