Industrial complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job purpose

This position exists to perform preparation of base and detailed design drawings activities efficiently, in a timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key accountability areas

Preparation of detailed drawings

• Create precise and comprehensive drawings for all mechanical parts using CAD software, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and understand design intent, ensuring all aspects are accurately represented in the drawings.

Assembly layout development

• Develop detailed assembly layouts for complete product parts, ensuring all components fit together correctly and are suitable for the manufacturing stage.
• Review and refine assembly designs based on feedback from production teams to optimize manufacturability and assembly efficiency.

As-built drawings preparation

• Create as-built drawings for manufactured products, documenting any changes made during the manufacturing process.
• Ensure that as-built documentation is accurate and reflects the final product for future reference and compliance.

Tender drawings creation

• Prepare tender drawings according to customer specifications, ensuring clarity and completeness to support the bidding process.
• Work closely with project managers and sales teams to understand client requirements and incorporate them into the tender documentation.

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Solve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.
