The Role
HDR is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our Singapore Building Engineering Services (BES) team. This position will be working on projects across a range of markets, primarily the Mission Critical sector.
In this role we will count on you to:
- Manage the commissioning process:
- Undertaking technical assessments of project schedules, drawings, manuals and technical submittals.
- Developing commissioning implementation plan,schedules, reports, checklists, and test scripts.
- Providing technical advice to clients in respect of project and operational risk.
- Working closely with general contractor’s team indeveloping commissioning strategies and processes which align fully withproject objectives.
- Managing attendance and reporting of factory tests.
- Undertaking and reporting of inspections and tests.
- Attending project and internal meetings as needed.
- Managing detailed recording of meetings.
- Recording of detailed progress pre-requisites.
- Routine population and management of data inproject commissioning software.
- Providing routine progress reporting and finalproject close out report.
- Arranging third party sign off as necessary.
- Review and development of Commissioning documentation.
- Reviewing technical papers/reports before publication.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in commissioning orfacility engineering, ideally working within the Mission Critical (Data Centre) sectors
- Experience conducting equipment inspection,Factory Witness Tests, and Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Team player and able to work independentlywith minimal supervision
- You are committed to quality, improvement andHDR values
- You are proactive, organised and ready to takeownership of commissioning outcomes on complex projects
- Appreciatesteamwork and good interpersonal skills
- Singaporean or PR
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from recognized education institutions
- Green Mark AP, LEED AP, CSA or LEED Associate – advantageous.
