Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Lead site coordination across all trades to ensure seamless project execution
  • Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, and Method of Statement (MOS) for approval
  • Ensure construction work complies with contract requirements and approved drawings
  • Plan M&E works and develop micro schedules integrating other disciplines for timely delivery
  • Liaise effectively with sub-contractors and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow
  • Implement and monitor quality control (QC) plans to uphold project standards
  • Inspect and monitor architectural-related materials for compliance and quality
  • Conduct inspections, trade demonstrations, material testing, and mock-ups to validate work quality
  • Verify variation orders (VO) and prepare back charges accurately
  • Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to address project progress and issues
  • Review and ensure compliance with Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklists and Request for Inspection (RI) for M&E works
  • Manage M&E materials, sample boards, trade demos, and shop drawing submissions, addressing consultant review comments
  • Update M&E progress using scheduling tools to track and report project status
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or management
  • Ensure all work activities are conducted in a safe working environment
  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirement:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical, or related discipline
  • Relevant qualifications or certificates in Mechanical & Electrical disciplines
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant local experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors to ensure smooth progress, high-quality standards, and minimal defects
  • Independent, diligent, highly motivated, and excellent team spirit
