Mechanical Engineer AI Server and Rack Systems
Posted Updated
You will own mechanical and thermal design for AI server and rack platforms from concept through mass production. You will run thermal experiments, validate designs, analyze failures, benchmark platforms, assess assembly, and support prototype builds and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Drive mechanical design of AI server and rack platforms through mass production
- Plan and run thermal experiments and correlate results with simulation
- Perform design verification, root-cause analysis, and design optimization
- Benchmark AI server, GPU, and rack platforms and translate findings into design improvements
- Conduct DFA evaluations on physical hardware
- Support prototype builds, system integration, and validation for HPC and AI servers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Extensive mechanical or thermal design, analysis, and validation experience in HPC, server, or consumer-electronics systems
- Experience taking products from concept to production
- Hands-on server-hardware assembly, disassembly, and validation experience
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software and thermal simulation tools
- Familiarity with DFM and DFA methodologies
