Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will help keep our operations running safely and efficiently by improving equipment reliability, leading maintenance initiatives, and driving continuous improvement projects. You'll have the opportunity to work on challenging technical problems, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute directly to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and promote safe work practices within the mechanical maintenance team.
• Manage mechanical repair and maintenance activities across production lines.
• Support production teams in achieving line performance and reliability targets.
• Optimize maintenance and repair costs within approved budgets.
• Ensure mechanical equipment operates according to specified standards.
• Support reliability improvement initiatives, shutdown activities, equipment upgrades, spare parts management, and improvement projects.

Qualification and/or experience required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduated in Mechatronic is an advantage.
• 0 - 3 Years’ experience managing and maintaining facilities' critical equipment.
• Experience in maintenance of heavy industrial equipment – preferably continuous operation process equipment.
• Experience in planning and organizing major equipment maintenance.
• Must have safety management & contractor management experience as compulsory.
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic skills
• AutoCAD preferable.
• Problem solving, fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Fast learning, enthusiastic and energetic
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of English and computer literacy
