Mechanical Engineer – DX Villa Projects

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical works for villa projects.
• Manage DX air-conditioning/HVAC installation works, including indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant piping, drainage, ducting, and ventilation systems.
• Review HVAC/mechanical drawings and ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and other MEP teams to avoid site conflicts.
• Monitor subcontractors and technicians and ensure proper execution of work.
• Conduct inspections and ensure the quality of installation.
• Coordinate and support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DX HVAC systems.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed within the required schedule.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and technical matters.

Skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in HVAC/MEP projects.
• Strong practical experience in DX HVAC systems and villa projects.
• Good knowledge of VRF/VRV, split units, package units, ducting, ventilation, and refrigerant piping.
• Experience in HVAC installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand HVAC/MEP drawings.
• Good site supervision and coordination skills.
• Kuwait/GCC experience is preferred.
