Mechanical Engineer (Entry Level) - VTAL
Description
Our client is a marine and offshore industry . Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Responsibilities for Mechanical Engineer:
Conduct market and user research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and product requirements.
Develop design concepts, 3D models, and prototypes using CAD and SolidWorks.
Create detailed mechanical designs, including engineering drawings, models, specifications, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet technical, functional, quality, and performance requirements.
Evaluate and select suitable materials, components, and manufacturing processes based on product requirements, cost, and manufacturability.
Requirements:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related discipline.
Experience in mechanical or product design will be an added advantage.
Experience in SolidWorks
