Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical Engineer
Design it. Build it. Move adventure forward.
Are you ready to turn bold ideas into durable, high-performing products? Join our engineering team and help design the mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic systems that make safe, reliable watercraft transportation possible. This is a hands-on opportunity to see your work move from 3D model to production floor—and ultimately out on the road.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Own meaningful design work from concept through prototype, testing, and production.
- Collaborate directly with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, production, and service teams.
- Solve real-world engineering challenges involving steel, aluminum, fabrication, welding, fit, finish, and durability.
- Help improve products, processes, cost, quality, and manufacturability.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic systems for watercraft transport platforms.
- Create and maintain detailed 3D models, drawings, specifications, tolerances, and engineering change records.
- Apply sound engineering principles to ensure structural integrity, safety, durability, and regulatory compliance.
- Design components and assemblies using structural steel and aluminum with fabrication and welding processes in mind.
- Support prototype builds, testing, validation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and field issue resolution.
- Partner with manufacturing to optimize designs for quality, cost, and efficient fabrication and assembly.
- Provide practical engineering support to production, quality, and service teams.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with 3D modeling; SolidWorks experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of drawing dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Familiarity with metal forming, cutting, and welding processes for structural steel and aluminum.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- ERP data management, finite element analysis, or automotive experience is a plus.
How You’ll Succeed
You’ll thrive in this role if you are a collaborative problem-solver who communicates clearly, exercises sound independent judgment, supports a positive and safe workplace, and looks for continuous-improvement opportunities. A willingness to learn and use lean practices such as 5S—and to assist, train, and lead others in a team environment—is important.
