Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Shifts)
Summary
Mechanical Engineer supporting a manufacturing facility's maintenance team with rotating shifts. Responsible for planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment uptime and compliance with statutory inspections, supporting EHS initiatives, and managing spare parts inventory.
You will work as a member of the Maintenance and Facilities team, providing Maintenance support to other departments in a safe and compliant manner, ensure PPM is up to date and work orders are actioned in a safe and timely manner. Main duties and responsibilities include: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks. Ensure PPM activities are completed on time. Reactive Maintenance tasks are actioned as quickly as possible in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain compliance and statutory inspections and support other functions with this task. Support the EHS team. Ensure the stock of spares.
