Mechanical Engineer – Technical (MEP)

Job Responsibilities:

• Review contract documents, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and submit mechanical material submittals and method statements.
• Review and coordinate mechanical shop drawings.
• Handle outsourcing and coordination with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and send RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison statements for management approval.
• Ensure timely submission of technical documents in accordance with project schedules.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.

Skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in MEP construction projects, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and technical documentation.
• Experience in material submittals, shop drawings, RFQs, and technical/commercial evaluations.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Candidates available to join immediately are preferred.
