Mechanical Engineer

U.S. Citizenship is Required. Ability to qualify for a US Department of War Top Secret security clearance required. Candidate must be SAP and SCI program eligible.

Toyon Research Corporation is an industry leader in the areas of complex space and missile systems analysis, aerothermodynamics, payload design and development, and ground and flight testing. Our Aerospace Systems Group provides innovative technical solutions to support aerospace programs for the Department of War (DoW) and their agencies. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to participate in the development of novel electro-mechanical space systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop structures and mechanisms for space applications through test and delivery
• Author drawings, assembly documentation, and test plans
• Collaborate with Program Management to define task objectives, timelines, and deliverables
• Work in a multidisciplinary team environment involving diverse disciplines (e.g. aero-thermal and
• thermo-structural analyses, RF and IR signature effects of materials and configurations, etc.)
