Mechanical Engineering Lead - Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Lead to oversee design management and technical delivery of mechanical systems for major building and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading the mechanical discipline across design, coordination, and project execution phases, ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting system designs while supporting construction and authority approvals. Responsibilities - Lead the mechanical engineering/design office in the design of Mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems) for design-built projects from Concept to Detail design. - Use software to Perform Mechanical Design Calculations and Size Mechanical Equipment, piping, and ductwork from Concept to detail design. - Review of Mechanical design drawings, calculations, and specifications and check for errors or omissions. - Review Mechanical Designs and do Value Engineering (VE). - Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, SBC, MOMRAH, SWC - Coordinate with Electrical and ELV/ICT teams, External Design Consultants and Main - Contractor Main Contractor and finalize the designs accordingly. - Technical/Engineering support to Construction teams for projects under construction - Support authority submissions (NWC, Civil Defense) - Mentor and contribute in the professional development of Mechanical engineers

- Minimum of 10 years Mechanical Design experience in Saudi or in the GCC with an MEP consulting engineering firm with a proven record of design experience in large commercial, institutional and infrastructure projects. - Very good working knowledge of REVIT MEP, AutoCAD and related Mechanical calculations software as mentioned above. - Strong leadership and communication including Report writing and presentations - Good knowledge of the Local codes and Authority processes and Code requirements - BIM design and coordination experience with other disciplines, architectural and structural - BSc or MSc degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering - International Professional Qualifications/Certifications - Member or qualified for membership in the Saudi Engineering Council #MechanicalEngineering #MechanicalDesign #MechanicalConstruction #BuildingServices #SaudiJobs #MEPJobs #MEPProjects #SaudiMEP #One95Global #InternationalRecruitment
