MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SERVICE MANAGER
1. 5–10 years of relevant experience in excavator repair and maintenance.
2. Strong hands-on experience with excavator engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and undercarriage.
3. Able to independently diagnose and repair complex excavator faults.4. Strong understanding of hydraulic pressure, hydraulic flow, pumps, valves and hydraulic motors.
5. Good understanding of engine performance and engine-hydraulic system matching.
6. Able to troubleshoot electrical, sensor and control-system faults.
7. Able to read and understand hydraulic schematics, electrical wiring diagrams and technical service manuals.
8. Able to use appropriate diagnostic and testing equipment.
9. Good knowledge of excavator components, common failure modes and repair methods.
10. Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
11. Able to lead, supervise and train a team of technicians.
12. Good planning, communication and organisational skills.13. Able to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
14. Willing to travel to work sites for inspection, troubleshooting and emergency breakdown support when required.
15 Relevant qualifications in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
