Mechanical Engineering Technician
Summary
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment in a waste management plant, including pumps, motors, and blowers, while maintaining records and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Preventive maintenance on all the equipment in plant as per instruction.
- Inspect and do corrective action on the equipment.
- Updating of preventive maintenance records such as history card checklist.
- Record daily job activities in logbook.
- Minimize equipment breakdowns and down-time through effective problem identification.
- Perform overhauls and maintenance on fans, blowers, various types of pumps, motors, and other equipment.
- Install new equipment and perform inspections to ensure reliable operation.
Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in Process Plant.
- Possess strong practical and technical skills.
Remuneration:
- Basic Salary: $2,400 – $2,700
- Entitled Overtime / Shift allowances
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm); Saturday (8am – 12pm) / Shift Work (Day: 8am – 8pm, Night: 8pm – 8am)
- Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if candidate manages own transport
