Job Title *Mechanical Equipment Engineer* Key Responsibilities Mechanical Engineer - Design and develop mechanical systems and components such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and pipelines for use in oil and gas extraction and processing. - Perform detailed mechanical analysis and simulations to optimize design and functionality. - Collaborate with project teams to integrate new mechanical systems into existing operations and ensure seamless implementation. - Conduct stress tests, dynamic analyses, and other evaluations on mechanical devices to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design files, specifications, and operational manuals. - Monitor and report on the performance of mechanical systems, recommending improvements and troubleshooting issues as needed. - Stay updated with advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and methods that can be applied to enhance asset integration and performance. - Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance teams, ensuring best practices in mechanical integrity and reliability. - Participate in safety audits and risk assessments to ensure that all mechanical operations comply with environmental and safety regulations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field; a Master’s degree is preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas industry, focusing on the design, analysis, and maintenance of mechanical systems. - Strong proficiency with engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ANSYS for design and simulation. - Proven track record in managing large-scale engineering projects from concept through to completion. - In-depth knowledge of mechanical principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science. - Familiarity with industry standards and certifications pertinent to mechanical engineering in the petroleum sector. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in multidisciplinary teams and leading projects. - Professional engineering certification (e.g., PE license) is highly advantageous.
