facility based in the Peel region/Southwest. Their

The
Position…
With the
recent growth in their business, they are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join the team in their
engineering facility. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in the mechanical industry, with a diversity of projects and skills.
- Preparation and assembly of manufactured components
- Assembly
of service modules and water carts
- Installation
and securing of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Manufacturing
or modifying components
- Troubleshooting
and repairing faulty equipment
- Reading
and interpreting drawings or specifications
- Maintaining and adhering to health and safety in the workplace
- Ensuring a clean and safe work
environment
- Normal hours - 10.5 hours Monday to Thursday
- Normal hours - 6 hours Friday
- Overtime when required
The
Ideal Candidate…
The ideal
candidate will have the following:
- Trade certificate relevant to
your trade (Cert III or higher)
- Valid Australian C Class driver's licence (HR highly desirable, but not essential)
- Full Australian working rights
- Current High-Risk License – Forklift
(preferred, but not essential)
- Previous experience of road trucks
and LV’s
- National police clearance (or willing
to obtain)
- Intermediate computer skills
(preferred, but not essential)
- Strong commitment to safety and
quality
- Motivated, hard-working and a
positive attitude
