Summary

Senior mechanical/hydraulic engineer plans, supervises, and troubleshoots shipbuilding and repair projects, ensuring safety and meeting tight deadlines in a high-pressure marine environment.

Position : Senior Mechanical / Hydraulic / Automation Engineer


Candidate should be willing to work individually under Challenging atmosphere at extended working hours to suit Vessel's Schecdule.

Requirements:

· Professional Certificate / NiTEC / Diploma / Degree in Engineering

· Minimum 12 years working experience in related field and 8 yearsworking experience in a Supervisory Position

· Strong persuasion and negotiation skill with a variety of people atall levels

· Ability to manage foreign workers

· Possess good leadership qualities

· Excellent communication and problem solving skills

· Able to handle Challenging / unexpected challenges

· Strong project management skill. Ability to manage multiple projects,plan against timeline and meet deadline, and forecast, budget and monitorproject costs

· Previous working experience in shipyards / Offshoreis a must, with sailing experince will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, leading and supervision of production team to ensure that works are carried out in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
  • Discussion, advising and coordination of works with all relevant parties
  • Preparation of reports as required
  • Observe and maintain safety rules and regulations
  • Team player with leadership qualities
  • Able to plan, coordinate and monitor ship building and repair actiivites
  • Able to work under pressure and tight schedules
  • Professionally sound and to be able to trouble shoot mechanical / hydraulic / Automation defects at Riding crew at Sea / Anchorage.
  • Able to work Extended working hours and week ends to suit vessel's schedule.
  • MOM relevant certificates required

Work Location : Tuas Area / Local Anchorage

Relatively Good salary package (depends on qualification &experience).
