The Mechanical Project Engineer will develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. High energy, a strong sense of curiosity and hands-on mechanical experience is required.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Performs research, design, and development of manufacturing processes and product designs.
- Evaluates business cases for new manufacturing processes, presents recommendations to upper management.
- Creates new designs to solve difficult manufacturing problems.
- Designs or sources production equipment, robotic systems and automation equipment.
- Prepares detailed CAD models and drawings to facilitate fabrication.
