Mechanical Project Engineer

Salary Package: Basic + AWS + Bonus

Working days: 5 days

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Liaison & Solutions: Translate customer requirements into technical solutions while managing communications across external vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

• Engineering Design & Drafting: Interpret technical specifications to create 2D/3D AutoCAD models, detail engineering designs, and comprehensive project documentation.

• Project & Site Coordination: Oversee project lifecycles from fabrication through on-site execution, managing timelines, logistics, site manpower, and operational workflows.

• Testing & Specialised Works: Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing, and support PLC-related system tasks as needed.

• Quality, Compliance & Governance: Enforce safety protocols, track progress against deliverables, and maintain up-to-date project documentation and engineering databases.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with 2 to 5 years of relevant mechanical or project engineering experience.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D modeling; practical knowledge of hydrostatic/pneumatic pressure testing; basic familiarity with PLC systems is an advantage.

• Project Management: Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project activities, manage technical documentation, and monitor schedules independently across multiple concurrent projects.

• Soft Skills & Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented problem solver with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  
• Candidates need to provide drawing: a mounting bracket to hold a hydraulic manifold block onto a skid frame. The manifold has 4× M10 tapped holes on a 100 × 60 mm pattern. The bracket bolts to the skid with 2× M12 fasteners, and must offset the manifold 50 mm from the frame face. Material: 8 mm mild steel, fabricated. Deliver a 3D model and a fully dimensioned 2D drawing.
