Mechanical QC Inspector – Data Centre Project

Location: Denmark
Work model: On-site

Your responsibilities

As Mechanical QC Inspector, you will support the Quality Manager and QC Lead in coordinating inspections, quality documentation and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• preparing, reviewing and tracking Inspection and Test Plans, Quality Plans and checklists;
• maintaining complete and audit-ready quality documentation;
• coordinating mechanical inspections, testing activities and project walkdowns;
• preparing two-week inspection lookahead schedules;
• issuing notifications for W1, W2 and W3 walkdowns and turnover activities;
• monitoring benchmark and first-of-kind inspections;
• supporting snagging and driving the closure of quality issues;
• maintaining weld traceability records, weld logs, heat maps and welder qualifications;
• monitoring visual inspections and NDT compliance;
• verifying mechanical installations, materials and equipment against specifications;
• coordinating Factory Acceptance, pre-installation and post-installation inspections;
• maintaining accurate inspection data in Autodesk BIM 360 or ACC;
• updating Power BI dashboards and preparing quality performance reports;
• monitoring project KPIs and supply-chain quality performance;
• supporting lessons-learned workshops and continuous-improvement initiatives;
• collecting and verifying commissioning and turnover documentation;
• coordinating Level 2A delivery-verification and Level 2B set-in-place inspections;
• supporting Yellow Tag, DCOps and integrated checklist inspections;
• ensuring that inspection records and supporting evidence are completed and closed out correctly.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

• experience in mechanical QA/QC, construction quality or commissioning;
• experience on Data Centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical projects;
• strong knowledge of ITPs, quality documentation and inspection processes;
• practical knowledge of mechanical installations and commissioning requirements;
• experience with welding quality, traceability and NDT processes;
• experience coordinating inspections, walkdowns, snagging and project close-out;
• familiarity with Factory Acceptance Tests and equipment-delivery inspections;
• experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360 or similar quality platforms;
• knowledge of Power BI and digital reporting tools;
• strong document-control, planning and reporting skills;
• excellent attention to detail;
• the ability to coordinate subcontractors, vendors and project stakeholders;
• good command of English;
• legal eligibility to work in Denmark.

Experience with Data Centre commissioning stages, turnover systems and Level 2 inspections will be a significant advantage.
