Our client is working on a new Mechanical Service project for an Energy project in Central Asia. Currently recruiting for Mechanical Service Specialists to join the project and will like to invite interested candidates to submit your resume to talent@asiasearch.com.sg.

Mechanical Service Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Corrective Maintenance: Troubleshooting & root cause analysis, bearing replacement, mechanical seal repair/ replacement, shaft repair (run-out correction, sleeve replacement), impeller repair/ replacement, and rotor balancing correction.
  • Overhaul & Major Maintenance: Complete disassembly & inspection, dimensional checks (clearance, tolerances), replacement of critical components, rotor dynamic balancing (low & high speed), reassembly with OEM standards, and performance testing post overhaul.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Equipment installation supervision, alignment (laser alignment), pre-commissioning checks, no-load & load testing, performance verification, and documentation & handover.
  • Field Services/ On-site Support: Emergency breakdown response, on-site troubleshooting, temporary repair solutions, shutdown/ turnaround support, and manpower supply execution (specialist, engineers, technicians).

Requirements:

  • Candidates is required to have relevant experience in servicing of rotating equipment, especially turbo machinery.
  • Repair & maintenance of turbo machinery equipment
  • Experience in Steam Turbines, Centrifugal/ Reciprocating Compressors, Pumps (Centrifugal, Multistage, API Pumps), Gearboxes & Speed Increasers/ Reducers, Blowers & Fans will be advantage.
