Mechanical Simulation Intern

Summary

Perform finite-element simulations to analyze mechanical behavior, prepare CAD models, and collaborate with engineers to refine simulation methods.

Your role:

  • Support the mechanical simulation team in performing numerical analyses using the Finite Element Method (FEM).

  • Prepare 3D geometry models for simulation using CAD software.

  • Create reports and discuss results with the product engineering team.

  • Actively participate in the development of mechanical simulation methodologies.

Your background:

  • Solid understanding of the mechanical properties of materials.

  • Knowledge of computational methods for static and dynamic behavior analysis.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

  • Experience with FEA packages (e.g., Simulia Abaqus, Ansys Mechanical)

  • Student status

  • Availability (minimum 20 h per week)
