Mechanical Site Engineer
Summary
Oversees mechanical construction projects (HVAC/plumbing) in the UAE, managing site execution, compliance, and coordination with contractors/consultants to deliver systems on time and to spec.
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the construction industry with hands-on experience in HVAC and plumbing systems across residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects.
This role requires an individual who can oversee mechanical works from planning through execution, ensuring all systems are delivered according to project specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise mechanical works on construction sites.
- Coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
- Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with project schedules.
- Ensure all mechanical installations comply with local authority regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Review material submittals and ensure approved materials are used on site.
- Prepare progress reports and participate in project meetings.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards throughout project execution.

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Mandatory UAE construction experience.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC and Plumbing systems is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination and site execution.
- Experience reviewing shop drawings and coordinating with consultants.
- Experience working on residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
- Knowledge of local UAE construction standards and regulations.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
