Summary

Requires 10+ years of mechanical experience in energy/manufacturing construction and fluency in Swedish and English.

Job Summary

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will report to the Construction Manager.

You will be part of the project team and ensure the subcontractor team is conducting the mechanical work in a timely manner and inform the client regarding the progress of the construction plant.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected

• Ensure the fulfilment of the project quality and contractual requirements

• Verify and confirm the availability of drawings and materials to plan the efficient execution of the works performed by subcontractors or by assigned direct hiring personnel

• Supervise the execution of mechanical works and structures, checking that machineries/tools are properly used and maintained

• Verify that works are correctly carried out in accordance with the project specifications, highlighting any engineering problems encountered in the field

• Provide quantitative data for producing weekly progress reports, monitoring the employed manpower

• Liaise with the Subcontractor Mechanical supervisor to monitor the work progress

Requirements

• 10 years in Mechanical activities in an Energy or Manufacturing facility construction/commissioning site

• Swedish C1, English C1

• Drawing interpretation; assembly sequences experience

• Experience with Excel
