SSO Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a growing organisation based in Cork.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day mechanical works and site activities.
• Coordinate mechanical trades, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee installation of heating, plumbing, HVAC and associated mechanical systems.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project programmes.
• Monitor workmanship, quality and progress on site.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and other stakeholders.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety and quality requirements.
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays.
• Maintain relevant site records and progress documentation.

Requirements

• Relevant trade qualification or mechanical/building services qualification.
• Previous experience supervising mechanical works on construction/building services projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC and mechanical installations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent understanding of site health & safety requirements.
• Full driving licence.
