Vacancy: Electrical Technician (Qatar)

We are working with our oil and gas client based in Qatar to source for mechanical technician.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary (12 years) education followed by 3 years full-time technical training.
• 15 years experience in construction, commissioning, start-up, and production facilities.
• Preferably with EPIC contracting companies with a minimum of eight (8) years in commissioning.
• Experience with operation, maintenance, pro commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and handover project.

Accountabilities

• Involved in project construction completion check and walkthrough, pre-commissioning, commissioning, PSSR, start-up activities, site acceptance tests, and performance tests as directed by Lead/Senior Commissioning Engineer and advice from respective discipline engineer to achieve project scope and operations readiness objective.
• Monitor project scope normal operations until one month after successful performance test as directed by Lead/Senior Commissioning Engineer and advice from respective discipline engineer to achieve project scope and operations readiness objective.
• Support Lead/Senior Commissioning Engineer for completing operations readiness deliverables prior to OHC (Operations Handover Certificate) as applicable and required.
• Support, coordinate, and consult respective discipline engineer to ensure respective discipline technical and project scope are holistically met during construction until normal operations.
