Job Summary

Lead and coordinate mechanical team operations to ensure timely completion of customer orders while maintaining quality standards and safety compliance in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials to verify stock sufficiency and availability
  • Perform routine maintenance and checks on workshop tools and equipment to ensure proper working condition
  • Respond promptly to equipment defects to maintain uninterrupted facility functionality
  • Implement daily housekeeping practices to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Lead the mechanical team to complete customer orders within project timelines while meeting quality standards
  • Develop and maintain detailed work schedules, manpower allocation, and resource plans to optimize operational efficiency
  • Coordinate with external vendors to secure timely delivery of supplies
  • Manage and liaise with external contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery
  • Enforce workplace safety compliance to uphold a safe working environment
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Managing Director

Required competencies and certifications

  • NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experiences

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Six-day work availability
  • Willing to work under noisy and warm environment
