What you'll do

We are looking for Mechanics to provide Urban Solid Waste (RSU) Collection and Street Cleaning (LV) services in El Puerto de Santa María (province of Cádiz), to guarantee the correct operation, safety, and availability of the fleet and machinery assigned to the service through the execution of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and fault diagnosis tasks.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial vehicles, machinery, and equipment linked to the service.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical faults.

Perform periodic inspections to guarantee the safety and operability of the fleet.

Replace and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment for fault detection.

Recording all maintenance interventions and keeping technical documentation up to date.

Perform inspections and operational checks following completed repairs.

Apply occupational health, safety, and environmental protection standards.

Collaborate with the rest of the workshop team to guarantee the availability of vehicles and equipment.

Propose improvements in maintenance procedures to increase the efficiency and availability of the fleet.

Nice to have

Specific training in industrial vehicle maintenance.

Training related to hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.

Training in occupational risk prevention.

Education & certifications

Intermediate Degree in Automotive, Mechanics, Electromechanics, or equivalent training.

Necessary experience

We value previous experience in general mechanics and electromechanics.

We value experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial vehicles and machinery.

Other requirements

Knowledge of diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electromechanical faults.

Ability to interpret technical documentation and perform preventive and corrective maintenance work.

Availability to travel to the workplace.
