Mechatronics Engineer Sustainable Infrastructure - Tires
Summary
Designs and maintains SCADA systems for industrial infrastructure using Ignition, Siemens WinCC, and PLCs, with a focus on real-time monitoring and automation.
As Mechatronics Engineer in Sustainable Infrastructure department, your main responsabilities will be:
- SCADA Systems Programming:
- Design, development, and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for monitoring and control of infrastructure.
- Ignition SCADA Development:
- Experience using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform for real-time control systems and industrial IoT applications.
- Kepware Configuration:
- Setup and configuration of Kepware for data communication between industrial devices and applications using OPC, Modbus, and other protocols.
- Siemens WinCC Programming:
- Development and customization of HMI interfaces using WinCC for process visualization and control.
- Database Programming:
- MySQL: Data storage, retrieval, and reporting using SQL queries for integration with industrial systems.
- Programming Languages:
- Java, C++: Development of applications or backend processes related to automation and system control.
- Mess-DAS (Measurement Data Acquisition Systems): Configuration and integration with control systems for data logging and analysis.
- Networking and IP Systems:
- Understanding of network architectures, subnetting, routing, and IP classes.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot industrial Ethernet networks.
- PLC Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of Siemens PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500, etc.) and associated I/O modules.
- Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagram programming for automation processes.
- Communication Protocols:
- Practical experience with industrial communication protocols such as:
- BACnet/IP – Building automation and control networking protocol.
- Modbus RTU – Serial communication protocol used in industrial devices.
- Practical experience with industrial communication protocols such as:
- Data Visualization and BI Tools:
- Power BI: Creating dashboards, visual reports, and data analysis tools to monitor infrastructure performance.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering- Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- Mandatory: Knowledge of Java, C++, Scada, SQL
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and analysis;
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in Utilities;
- English - minimum B2.
